R18 Full Ceramic Bearings are made entirely of ceramic material . Ceramic is the perfect material for any application where high temperatures and corrosive substances are an issue. Additionally, it is ideal where high RPM’s are needed, reducing overall weight, or for extremely harsh environments.
Full Ceramic bearing materials commonly used are Silicon Nitride (Si3N4) and Zirconia Oxide (ZrO2). We can custom made full ceramic bearing in Alumina Oxide (Al2O3) or Silicon Carbide (SiC).
Here at Ortech, we hand make every single full ceramic bearing. This means each customer can chose the ceramic material, cage/retainer, open or sealed along with the type of seal. Moreover, we can custom make the different ABEC Rating and the clearance of each bearing.
